Eric C. Parlette, M.D., is a fellowship-trained Mohs surgeon with extensive experience in dermatologic surgery. Raised primarily in Rockville, Maryland, he graduated magna cum laude from Virginia Tech, where he competed in cross-country and track. He earned his medical degree from the University of Virginia through the U.S. Navy Health Professions Scholarship Program.
Dr. Parlette completed his internship at what is now Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, where he was selected as Intern of the Year, and his dermatology residency at Naval Medical Center San Diego. While serving at U.S. Naval Hospital Okinawa, he was named Medical Officer of the Year. After nine years of active-duty Navy service, he completed a fellowship in Mohs surgery and laser and cosmetic dermatology in Boston, Massachusetts.
Dr. Parlette has served as a Captain in the U.S. Navy Reserve and has taught leadership and ethics through the Naval Leadership and Ethics Center. His professional interests also include teaching and research in dermatologic surgery. He returned to the Washington, D.C., Maryland, and Virginia region to be near family and friends.
